How to apply to our schools

We admit pupils primarily to year 4 and year 7 each academic year. If there are places in other year groups, we also admit pupils in year 5, year 6 and year 8.

In order to start at Entréskolan, a passed skills test in the chosen profile subject is required.

Admission

Admission to the Entréskolan takes place through a skills test within the aesthetic profile that you want choose. Before admission to the Entréskolan, all applicants must take a skills test within the aesthetic profile of their choice. You can choose between dance, music, theater or art. In order to be admitted, a passed skills test in your profile subject is required. The application is made digitally here on the website no later than February 1 (March 1 for Uppsala) each academic year before the start of school for the following academic year. It does not matter how long you have been in our student queue as admission is only based on your results on the skills test.

During the skills test, you get to try and demonstrate your skills in the chosen profile subject. The skills test is structured like a lesson and takes place in a group together with other applicants. The skills test gives you an idea of ​​what is expected of you within the chosen profile. The skills test contains different parts where you as a student are scored based on how you meet the criteria. You need to have a passed skills test, i.e. at least 2 out of 5 points in each part of the skills test in order to start at Entréskolan. Admission takes place later based on scores on the exam, and queue dates therefore do not matter. We therefore also do not apply sibling advantage.

You will be called to the skills test during the month of February. In March, offers of places are sent out.

Instructions for the application

You apply to the Entréskolan by filling in our form by clicking on the link to the respective school above. You choose the grade you will start in for the next school year and the aesthetic profile you wish to follow. If you want to start at the school during the current academic year, you make an application and contact the principal of the school directly. Contact information can be found under each school.

In order for us to be able to administer your application in our system, you must provide personal and address details for the student and guardian. When you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with login details to be able to update the contact details in your application.

To put a student with a protected identity in the queue, contact admissions directly.

Late application after February 1 (March 1 for Uppsala)

If you missed applying before February 1 (March 1), it is still possible to make an application until the start of school. If there are places left for any of the profiles, you will be called to an additional skills test before any offer of a place. Passed skills test required for all admissions.

If you want to start school during the current school year

We normally do not take in new students during the current school year, but it is up to each principal to decide whether the school can accept more students or not. If you are already a reserve, you may therefore be contacted with an offer of a place. If you have not taken a skills test and wish to start during the current academic year, apply as usual in the system, but also send an email to antagning@entreskolan.se and tell them that you are interested in starting during the current academic year.
